Type: Bedroom & Wet Room Conversion
To kick of the New Year we got straight into another home renovation for a customer who had previously renovated their kitchen with us. This time, converting their single garage into a large bedroom with a wet area bathroom. The detail was open but had to meet certain criteria: cabinetry had to match the kitchen that we already did, the bathroom had to be suitable for a wet area / disabled access and lastly they did not want to rip up their outdoor patio. So, off AMS went investigating the existing sewer and storm water lines to see if it was possible. By doing this it enabled us to compare and contrast with the original Council plans. By confirming we could connect into the existing lines saved us time and the customers heartache and money. The rest was downhill. Out came the garage door and the brick arch and in went sliding glass doors and windows. Slowly but surely the garage disappeared and the new bedroom and bathroom started to take shape. The customers are over the moon with the result and we are too.
