Type: Exterior Renovation
Having renovated their entire interior of their property, these repeat customers were ready to tackle another renovation – the outside. This job was a major undertaking and yes, while renovating outside might seem easier, there is a lot more at stake when it comes to doing it properly the first time to ensure longevity. A lot of groundwork went into this external renovation and whilst you may not see it, it was an absolute necessity living on a sloping block. With excavators digging and footings going in to strengthen walls, a whole new backyard was on its way. Retaining walls were constructed and built up so that we could still give them a flat play lawn for their children. The timber deck was extended to give additional outdoor entertaining area and creating that ever important indoor-outdoor-flow. The new Eco-5000 timber decking boards were a recommendation of ours that the Customer loved. With no maintenance, superior durability and insect resistant it made sense to invest in a long term solution. The new, extra wide, overly large concrete steps draws your eyes down to the newly tiled pool area and newly constructed Bali hut. And to top it all off, new frameless glass around the whole perimeter. Definitely not an easy feat, but we did it again.
